Designed in homage to the Seiko SKX series
Anyone who knows diver’s watches will instantly recognize the Seiko SKX DNA in this watch. It’s there plain as day for anyone to see. The SKX009 Pepsi just happens to be my all time favourite, sub ÂŁ500, dive watch. Our CD200SKX has been designed using 316L marine grade steel for the case with the crown at the 4 o’clock position. Also, just like the SKX, it’s been certified water resistant to 200m. Best of all, it is powered by a Seiko NH35A automatic movement – 24 jewels with 40 hour power reserve. We’re not trying to hide the fact that the CD200SKX is a Seiko SKX tribute watch

Soft Silicone Diver’s Strap
We decided to move away from the one feature of the original Seiko that wasn’t perfect. The black PVC diver’s watch strap. The original Z22 Wave strap was stiff and a little bit uncomfortable. We have upgraded the watch strap to a soft, durable SILICONE strap. Similar styling with the ribbed expanders – but nothing like as stiff and hard as the PVC version.
Sapphire Crystal and Uni-directional Bezel
The rest of the watch follows where the SKX left off. The watch is protected by a tough anti-scratch Sapphire crystal. The uni-directional dive time bezel is the favored 120 click ratcheted mechanism. The crown is naturally screw down – to assist with the water proofing – as is the caseback

Quick Set Date – don’t break your watch !
This short video is intended to help anyone with a Seiko mechanical watch with QUICK SET DATE functionality. If you try to quick set change the date around 11pm to 2am you may BREAK the movement. This video shows owners of these watches how to QUICK SET CHANGE the DATE without damaging the movement.
Basically – manually WIND the hours around until you move past MIDNIGHT. Watch the date change .. then keep on winding. Don’t stop until you reach 6am at least. You are now in the SAFE ZONE. You may safely put the CROWN in to the HALF OUT / HALF IN (one click) position. Anti-clockwise winding of the crown will advance the DATE one day at a time. When you reach the desired date – pull the crown ALL THE WAY out and adjust the time. When you have finished – push the crown back in and SCREW IT DOWN if it’s a diver’s watch. That’s it – well done.
