An Introduction to San Martin Dive Watches

San Martin is a Chinese-based watch brand that specializes in the production of high-quality dive watches. The brand was founded in 2017 and has quickly gained popularity among watch enthusiasts for its attention to detail, use of high-quality materials, and affordable prices.

San Martin watches are typically designed with a classic dive watch aesthetic, featuring robust cases, rotating bezels, and luminous markers for improved visibility underwater. Many of their models are also equipped with automatic movements, which are powered by the movement of the wearer’s wrist and require no battery.

One of the unique features of San Martin watches is their use of high-quality materials, such as ceramic bezels and sapphire crystals, which provide enhanced durability and scratch-resistance. The brand also offers a range of straps, including leather, rubber, and stainless steel options.

San Martin offers a wide range of models, including the popular SN001, SN003, SN019, and SN045. These watches are often created as an homage to luxury watch brands such as Rolex and Omega, but at a more affordable price point.

Overall, San Martin watches offer a great combination of style, quality, and value. They are a great option for those looking for a high-quality dive watch without breaking the bank.

Quality alternatives – Orient, Seiko & Invicta Dive watches

Three other brands that may appeal to shopper’s considering a San Martin diver’s watch are Steeldive, Invicta and Orient. The Invicta range of dive watches include the hugely popular Invicta Pro Diver and the 300m water resistant Invicta Grand Diver (both pictured below). Invicta Dive watches feature very good quality Japanese movements like the Miyota 8215 (Citizen owned) and the Seiko produced NH35 (automatic / hacking).

Orient watches are a wholly owned subsidiary company of Seiko Epson. All Orient dive watches use movements Made in Japan – in other words – great quality at a sensible price. The most popular from this brand are often referred to as the Orient Mako – a Rolex Submariner styled divers watch – and the Orient Kamasu. However, Orient themselves do NOT refer to these watches by those nicknames. Not surprisingly – both Orient and Invicta have listings on our best value for money divers watches.

Don’t forget to also take a look at the Seiko diving watches – without doubt the most popular brand. Seiko have it covered with their traditional, mechanical, self winding Seiko automatic diver’s watches. And, for those who demand ACCURACY, they offer their range of Seiko Kinetic dive watches – quartz accuracy, motion charged.
