The God of Light and Sun

The Phoibos brand of dive watches was established in 2016 by Ethan Guo and Emily Feng. The name – PHOIBOS – comes from Ancient Greek Mythology. Known more commonly as APOLLO – the God of light and sun. The literal meaning of PHOIBOS is “Bright, Shining One”.

A quality Diver’s Watch that will survive at depth

All Phoibos watches are manufactured to a superior quality. They only use Swiss Quartz movements and Swiss or Japanese Automatic (self-winding) movements. Since 2019 all their watches are produced by a high-quality Hong Kong watch manufacturer – to the highest standards. All the Phoibos watches features below are certified to 200m water resistancy, the minimum for a proper “divers watch”, and come with a 2 year warranty.

Phoibos Leviathan – 500m Dive Watch

The monster of the deep that is the Phoibos Leviathan. This is the largest dive watch made by Phoibos at 45mm wide and 54mm tall (lug to lug vertically). Underneath it’s scratch resistant sapphire crystal with AR coating is a dial treated with 15 layers of super bright Super-LumiNova BGW9 lume. The Leviathan is powered by the reliable SII made NH35 automatic movements, it’s water resistant to 500m and it comes with a date window at 3 o’clock

Are Phoibos as good as Seiko or Citizen?
